This was a closed adoption. I was adopted at 9 weeks old. I was born in cincinnati,Oh at a hospital that is no longer there. My adoptive mother said at the time of the adoption she saw the name EMERSON on the file, they told her that was information about my birth family and she wasnt supposed to see that. I believe my birth name was Samantha Emerson. At the time of the adoption I had 2 brother and a sister all older than me. My adoptive mother hired a private investogator around 2010 to see how my birth parents were doing, there was evictions and crimes on their records.
