My grandmother‚ Roberta Lee Rowe‚ is the mother of a child that I am searching for. We believe she had the child her senior year of high school which was most likely 1962. Her parents sent her off to what we believe was Catherine Booth Home for Unwed Mothers‚ but if it was not there‚ it was a place similar that was located in the Cincinnati‚ OH area. My grandmother was forced to give her child up for adoption and as soon as she gave birth‚ the child was taken from her. She wanted to hold the baby and was not allowed and the home refused to tell her the sex of the child‚ no matter how hard she fought to learn it.
