My mother had a baby girl at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio as an unwed mother and gave the baby up for adoption‚ I would assume through a Catholic agency. My mother's name was Madeline Carroll Davis and she lived in Norwood‚ Ohio‚ which is a suburb of Cincinnati at the time. I just learned she had another baby 2 years ago.
