I was born in Xenia, Ohio, right outside of Dayton. The adoption agency was Midwestern Children’s Home. My adoptive parents were MarySue Gates Watson and Clay McMullen Watson. The adoption took place in Akron, Ohio. My name at birth was Babygirl Brewer, my name after adoption was Meredith Gates Watson, my married last name now is Ramirez. My birth mother’s name was Lisa Anne Brewer Dunn, we were able to reconnect but she has since passed away. I was also able to connect with her daughter, my half sister, Cody. My birth father’s name was Michael but I don’t know a last name. He is from Cleveland and I believe he may still live there. I was told my birth father was also adopted and that played a part in why I was adopted. They were approx 19-22 years old at the time of my birth. I’m interested in finding my birth father as well as any siblings or other biological family members. I have done a DNA kit with Ancestry.com I don’t want to disrupt anyone’s life, I’m really just interested to see where I come from, who I might look like and go from there. I am not mad about being adopted at all. I think it is a selfless act and I am thankful to you for putting me up for adoption if you weren’t ready or able to care for a baby yet. I had a wonderful childhood, loving parents and a great adopted brother. He was also adopted, but had different birth parents.
