I am searching for my mother’s biological mother and family. I was told that my mother’s name before being adopted was Linda Patricia and that she had a sister who was 8 years older than her at the time she was given up for adoption. My mother was born in Halifax NS to a woman who I believe to be named Johanna Lisa Hanson....unsure of exact spelling however she was of Scandinavian decent...married to a Canadian man I believe. My mother was adopted by Walter and Shirley Wheeler of Dartmouth NS in 1961 when my mother was still a baby.
