Looking for my mother's family. I was told the birth name was Anne Macguigian‚ although I do not have any documentation of that. What I know is my grandmother was from Cape Breton and had my mother at 16 years old on march 21 1960. She had 6 full siblings 4 sisters‚ one brother and a sibling that died 2 days after childbirth. Her mother died giving birth at the age of 45. Her father was then 63 and was a retired miner. The father was 18 and worked as a miner at the time of the adoption‚ he may not of been told of the pregnancy.
