I was adtoped in June of 1989 via the home of the guardian angel at 15 days old. I was born at the grace maternity hospital in Halifax Nova Scotia and wAs given the name Melissa Dawn. The information I have around my birth mother is that i was her third child (all girls I believe) one being raised by her another by the child’s father. At the time of my birth she had no contact with my biological father however the social worker believed she worked for him when becoming pregnant. My last name is believed to be Halloran or Ohalloran. My birth mother was an advocate for the Home of the guardian angel for months after my adoption.
