Mother Diane Roche ? (Or similar) she was approx 17 when her baby boy was born in a catholic hospital in Halifax and then handed over to the ward/state for fostering or adoption. His mother is French Canadian and she specified he go to a catholic family. His father was German and in the navy (so we have been told but we are not sure). He was fostered for 2 years to a family with surname Cooper who had a daughter Karen ? He then was adopted to a family with surname Gill and went to live in Barbados, then emigrated to New Zealand at age 4 in 1970.
