My grandfather Ross Hayes was raised by his grandparents‚ his mother Edyth Hayes became his sister. I know he was born in the Hayes family home in Weymouth North Nova Scotia. From what I’ve been told his mother got pregnant within the war and only two of her sisters I believe knew who the biological father was but no one would ever say and the secret has been taken to the grave with all three of them.
