I am searching for the birth parents on my son who was adopted through the Children’s Aid Society of Cape Breton. He was born on February 25‚ 2007 at The Cape Breton Regional Hospital and adopted in April of the same year. We know that his birth mom was 17 years old at the time and his birth father was around 20. His birth father played guitar and basketball. Both parents participated in programs through the agency and ultimately chose us to be the adoptive parents‚ anonymously. We did have contact from Adoption Nova Scotia about 13 years ago regarding a possible health issue that a sibling had been born with. We have a detailed history of both birth parents. We know that his maternal birth grandmother is 57-59 years old and worked at a call center in Sydney NS at the time of our son’s birth.
