I desperately want to trace my roots and family history-not really interested in meeting my birth parents, I can’t see any good coming from this. I was always told I was only 4 days old (very unusual) when I was adopted and my parents told me they chose not to know anything about my birth mother-their choice. I have two grown up wonderful children who I want to share their roots with too. They both know I’m adopted but have always excepted my parents as their true grandparents. Years of being asked medical history and parents history have saddened me at times as no child/adult wants to say I don’t know anything at all. My adopted parents are Mr Stanley Brooks and Mrs Christina Brooks and my birth certificate says born in Mansfield-sub district Sutton-In-Ashfield. It is dated 8th November 1966
