I was born in 1972‚ in Heanor‚ Derbyshire. I was adopted from birth though I don’t know if it may have taken several months for the adoption to be official. The adoption was something I have always known about‚ and there have been a few times in my life have I felt curious enough about my birth roots to think deeper about tracing any family. I know my birth mother came from a large family‚ and in the 70’s it was very frowned upon to have a child out of wedlock‚ I may have been a secret to her entire family‚ curiosity alone has‚ in the past‚ not been a good enough reason to seek any information. As I get older and now surpass half a century‚ my curiosity grows. Primarily I am looking for information about my birth mother who was named Jane Dickson and aged 18 at the time of my birth‚ the only information I have about my birth father is the name Charles.
