My birth mother’s name was Vera Florence Smith, born 1925. She named me Kenneth Ian Smith on my original birth certificate, born 28th August 1946 at Westow, North Yorkshire (Buckrose). My biological father’s name is unknown, Vera not being married at that time. She later married in 1947 and assumed surname Fisher. I had been adopted (privately) shortly after birth and became Kenneth John Mitchell. Vera’s husband (Fisher) is unaware of my existence, as are any other members of that family. I am seeking to find my biological father’s name plus any other information.
