I am looking for Claire Lauretta Cady, born apparently in Fergus Falls, Minnesota in December 1893 or 12 October 1894 (from death certificate, 15 December 1942). She was adopted by H. P. Jergard (possibly spelled Bjergard, Bjorgard, or Bjergaard) who was living in Twin Valley, Minnesota 1904. At that time she was in 7th grade. My dad has been looking for information on his mother for several years and any information would be very helpful.
