I am searching for my biological grandfather. I don’t have much information to go on. My dad’s adopted last name was Enger. His first and middle names were James "Jim" Edward. His mother"s‚ my grandmother‚ maiden name was Marcella Marie Mayer. Her married names were Enger‚ Weaver & Frandsen. Henry Allan Enger‚ also known as Allan Henry Enger‚ adopted my dad and my two uncles when my dad was about 5‚ so around 1950. My dad’s birth place is North Dakota and the adoption took place in North Dakota‚ possibly Grand Forks‚ ND. There have been some that have said the name of my biological grandfather was Joe Benson. I do not know if that is true or not. As I said‚ I don’t have a lot of information to go on‚ but I am hoping to find some answers here.
