I gave birth to a son in Fargo, North Dakota on January 30, 1964. I was 15 when I became pregnant, and gave birth at 16. I named him Michael Joseph. I was placed in a Lutheran Unwed Mother’s Home in Fargo, N.Dakota, and then was moved to Canada after his birth where I am currently residing. He was born with very dark hair, and weighed, I think, 8 lbs. 6 oz. I was told he was adopted about 9 months after birth, but that was all I was told. I attended a court hearing in Fargo after the birth to give up my rights so that he could have a good life. I pray that he does have a good life.
