Born at Wake County Hospital at 1P.M. Sunday, June 23, 1974. I was adopted through Raleigh Catholic Social Services. I believe the nun that took care of me for the first week was named Sister Anina. I’ve been told that the lady who took care of me until I was adopted was Margaret Umstead. I don’t know if this is the name of my birth mother, or if it was in fact the Foster mother. I was adopted August 2nd 1974. In Raleigh North Carolina. From Catholic Social Services in Raleigh. I know my birth mother was about 20 are 21 when she had me. My birth father has left the picture when he was informed of my existence. He I believe, was 18 or 19 years old. My mom was five foot one , my dad was five foot six or seven. My birth mother’s parents were willing to help her, she tried to run away temporarily to try to keep me on her own, but came back, and decided to give me up for adoptiont to have two parents.
