From what I have gathered from my adoptive mother, my birth mother was in and out of foster care from 12-16 and left "home" around 16/17 and got pregnant by someone in the Navy (supposedly) She was around 17/18 when she had me in Durham NC, then the baby was adopted out by Wake County Social Services in Raleigh, NC. I am not sure how much of this is accurate.
