The adoption was done through the state of NC department of social services. The father I was told worked at uncw and the mother was a geriatric doctor. They had at least one natural daughter. The social worker who I was led to believe handled the adoption was Renee Hall‚ through New Hanover county. I was told the adoption went through in 05‚ but may have been in 06. I was also told that the adopting fathers name was William and the mothers middle name was Lee. I was also told that he and his younger brother ( both of which were mine) got adopted together. I've searched long and hard‚ even think I may know what address they lived at for the first few years. However fear of retaliation for trying to make contact kept me from knocking‚ after a while guilt for not being stronger when they needed me to. They are deeply missed and loved. They are forever in my thoughts and heart.
