Dear Mikal‚ My family adotped you from Ethiopia and you came to live with us for a year before we had to send you to another family. We had wanted another child and the angency we used lied to us about you‚ so we were unprepared to take care of you. I am sorry we had to find you another family. I imagine this was traumatic. I was one of two of your siblings from your temporary home. At the time I was about 9 or 10 in around 2008 or so. We lived in NC. I wanted to create this profile‚ becuase over the years‚ as I grew up‚ I began to love you for who you were as I was not able to at the time since I was an imature kid. Since we adotped you and our last name is complicated‚ I did not know if you would remeber how to find us and DNA tests would not connect us. I assumed you would be mad at us or sad and that is ok. But should you ever want to ask us what happened for closure with our family and you‚ I created this in case. I think my mopther gave you all she had on your adoption from Ethiopia‚ but if you want to call me and ask me about that‚ I will talk about what I know (it is not much‚ I did not understand).
