I know that my birth family comes from the NC mountains. My birth mother stayed at the Florence Crittenden House in or near Charlotte, NC. My birth father was supposed to attend NC State Engineering School. My birth mother was 17-18 at the time of my birth. I was adopted through the state of NC. by a math professor and his wife who had a son 7yrs old at the time of my birth. I know my birth mother wanted to keep me but knew I would have a better chance at life being adopted. I have two daughters and would like to meet some of my birth family.
