Hi , I was adopted from the Children’s Home Society in North Carolina. I am searching for my birth parents, I do not want to intrude on your life, I am happy and just want to know where I come from. I was adopted from the Children’s Home Society in NC. My adoptive parents were stationed at Camp Lejeune, my father was a doctor and my mother a house wife. I was adopted 5 weeks after I was born. My parents received the call when they were in NJ visiting my grandparents. My mother is originally from NY and my father from NJ. For a short period of time they also lived in California during my fathers residency. The birth mother was 15 years of age and was a tenth grade student. The birth mother has an older brother (worked in construction) and a half-sister. The birth mothers parents divorced when she was young, she stayed with her mother while her brother and father stayed together. Birth mother had her tonsils out at age 7. When she (birth mother) gave birth the following is family history Birth mother’s mother was a waitress, paternal grandfather was a storekeeper, maternal grandfather was a farmer, her maternal grandmother was a cook her paternal grandfather was deceased (at time of her pregnancy) all other grandparents were alive and in good health. Birth mother was 5’5" brown eyes, dark brown wavy hair and medium/dark complexion. Birth mothers father was 5’8" and had a fair complexion. Birth mother’s mother 5’5" brown eyes, black hair medium/dark complexion. Birth mother’s brother was 6 ’1" blue eyes, blonde hair and fair complexion. Birth mother’s half-sister had brown eyes, light brown hair and fair complexion. Birth mother’s mother was full American Indian. Birth mother’s religious affiliation was Baptist. Birth father was Caucasian (only information given). The birth mother was very concerned that a loving plan be made for the baby through adoption she was not able to provide, the stable, two-parent family she wanted her to have.
