My name is Danielle Mullis. My mother, Catherine Elaine Mullis, got pregnant soon after having me, and chose to give my brother, whose name at birth was Justin Ray Mullis, a greater opportunity with a family who could better provide and care for him. My Mom told me early on that I had a brother somewhere, I think about him often, and I even still have letters from the caseworker and a few baby pictures. Now I am 30, and I have a boy and girl close in age, and when I watch them play I often wonder how me and my brother would have gotten along, and how close we would have been. The caseworker had said the adoptive parents planned to tell him early on about his biological mother, so maybe he has looked for me also, but I know how sometimes circumstances change. Anyways, I can’t wait to meet my brother!
