I was adopted through Catholic Services in Charlotte NC. My DNA through Ancestry shows close family members in NY- last names are Farnan and Upton. My adoptive parents last name was Ayer and I was adopted while they were living in Jacksonville NC Marine Corp base. I was told be the agency my birth Mother was 25 and had 3 other children on an army base. He was relocated and didn’t want her and the children to join them. She met at 20 year old on the base who cared for her and her children. Their relationship developed and she became pregnant with me. If this is true she would be 80 years old and I want her to know that I’ve had a wonderful life! I just want to thank her and find out more about my past and 1/2 siblings! If anyone knows anything please let me know- thank you! Carolyn
