I was placed with the Martin County Department of Social Services in North Carolina in April of 1976 and placed with my adopted family around Easter of 1976. My adoption was finalized in Brunswick County in July 1976. I feel that my first name and middle was not possibly changed. Perhaps the middle name but I think my first name stayed the same. My name is Joy Edana. I feel that I may have possibly been born in January and put up for adoption when I was three months old in April 1976, that is purely speculation.
