I’ve done 23&me. My adoptive parents told me I was born near the NC coast and my birth was very young and her parents wouldn’t let her keep her baby and an older women had been caring for me. Not sure if I was in an orphanage or not. Based on DNA‚ I believe my paternal side is near Robeson County and my 2nd and 3rd cousin matches come from HUGE families. Locklears‚ Oxendine‚ Dunn‚ Dial are some surnames. Some have responded to requests but were unable to help unless it was guesses.
