Searching for birth mother or father: Mother gave birth to me February 24‚1969 and I think it was in or near Richmond‚ VA because my birth certificate indicates that town and state. I believe she was originally a North Carolina resident but don't know this to be a fact. I was adopted from the Children's Home Society of North Carolina in Greensboro‚ NC. It is believed that she was a 21 year-old college senior at the time of my birth. Basic physical traits I have of her are that at the time‚ she was approximately 5 ft. 3 in. tall‚ with relatively fair skin‚ wavey brown hair and hazel eyes. She also had 3 sisters similar in height with either brown‚ blond or red hair. Her mother was also about the same height. I too am only 5 ft. 0 in. tall and I have light brown hair with some wave to it. My birth mother's family was Episcopalean and her family's ancestry included England‚ Ireland and France. I know nothing about birth father except that it was thought that he was a caucasian college student at the time of my birth. I was adopted by a couple in North Carolina.
