I am looking for my grandmother's birth family. She was born to a woman that had multiple children. My grandmother was the only one to be given up. She was adopted by William and Mary Moore. My grandmother said the bio family's name is Bearden and that she was a Bearden until the adoption. Assuming that is correct she would have been born Betty Christine Bearden then changed to Moore once adopted. She had 1-2 siblings she spoke to for years from the bio family‚ one's name being Esther. I believe the family lived and the adoption all took place in North Carolina and South Carolina. The bio moms name may be something like Geneva.
