I was born in Guilford County at Moses Cone Hospital. I was adopted through the Social Services at the age of 8 weeks. My foster family called me Baby Kelly, but my adoptive parents named me Amanda. My social services coordinator for my adoption was Judy Upchurch. I was told that my bio mom was 16 and her boyfriend was in college. Her mother played the piano in a church. I am musical as well! I have a BS in Music Ed. I have been a teacher since 1993. I have been married for 24 years and have three children... one adopted and two bio.
