My mother and her identical twin sister were adopted at birth by Louis and Margaret Arning in 1951. They were born in either Ashville or Brevard NC and once adopted‚ they were taken to Pennsylvania to live. Both my mother and my aunt are deceased as well as their adoptive parents. They knew at an early age that they were adopted and were told that there were other siblings. When I was a teenager‚ my mother had met with the doctor who had delivered her and my aunt. He passed away shortly after that visit and my mother did not share any information with me or any of my siblings. I am searching for any possible family members that could help shed light on the circumstances of the adoption. If anyone has any information that could help‚ I would greatly appreciate your assistance.
