I am adopted and know very little about my birth family, but am looking for relatives based on my DNA results. I was born August 6, 1970 and was 2 months premature. I was adopted in Wake County, North Carolina. Here is what I know about my birth parents as of 1970: *My birth mother was 18 years old and the eldest of 6 children. She was 5’3" tall with long auburn hair, and very dark brown eyes. She was active in high school intramural sports/school clubs and played the accordion. *At the time, her mother (my maternal grandmother) was a nurse’s aide and her father (my maternal grandfather) was a training manager for a large equipment company. *My birth father was 25 years old in 1970 and a graduate of North Carolina State University. He was 5’11" with blond hair and blue eyes. He was unaware of the pregnancy.
