I understand that his mother had a lot to do with the adoption: her name was Nellie Hatcher. My adoptive mother’s name was Dorothy Brigman Hatcher. We lived in Rockingham NC on Airport Rd. I was told that my biological mother came to visit me on Airport Rd when I was very little, I have no memory of the visit. I was also told that a man from Charlotte, NC visited my adoptive mother Dorothy Brigman Allen (she remarried to Dozier Allen) in Rockingham, NC at the flea mkt on route 220.
