I’m the aunt of the adopted child I’m looking for. It was a forced adoption as the birth mother was very young. The birth mother lived in Bury St Edmunds but was sent away to Cambridgeshire to have the baby. We believe the baby went into foster care at about 9 months old and then was adopted by a young couple from Norfolk ‚ probably in 1972. Sadly it has been a taboo subject in the family and the birth mother has lived with the hurt and pain all her life. She has no other children. I’d love for her to know that her daughter had a happy adoption and possibly meet before it’s too late.
