She died from cancer on February 17‚ 1987‚ at age 51. According to family information‚ Margaret gave birth to three children who were placed for adoption. One adult adoptee born in 1965 has publicly identified Margaret Rose of Grand Falls-Windsor as her birth mother and has searched for two biological siblings.
