i am 72 yr old male. i was adopted in march of ’53 at the age of 2 yrs and almost one month. according to a letter from the Syracuse and Onondaga Cty Child and Family Services ‚ my biological mother had had me in foster care since birth in hopes of being able to take care of me ‚ finally deciding to give me up for adoption. she was 28 at the time‚ the father was 31 and they had gone together about 7 yrs‚ but couldn’t resolve their differences to marry‚. This could be an issue of one being Jewish and one not‚ as my ancestry. com dna test info says that i am 42% Jewish. I was reportedly born in Buffalo on 2/27/51 and my name was supposedly Joseph Paul Webster at birth. i don’t know if this was the mother’s name but i suspect possibly as she didn’t want her family‚ or the father to know of my birth. would love to find some dna matching siblings‚ half siblings or relatives out there.
