My Mother in law was born 4-21-1943 in Tarry town Westchester Co New York. She was told her birth mother was very young at the time of her birth. and was of Italian descent. Her birth mother may have been at St Faith’s maternity Home adjacent to Christ Episcopalian Church In Tarry Town. She was told that her biological father was a very Prominent man in the community , he was a Clergyman possibly in the New York City or Westchester County area possibly with the Episcopalian church. She had also heard that her mother’s family lived in the Little Italy section of New York City . She was adopted and went home from the hospital with her adopted family..they were a very prominent Italian family with the last name Of Chiappetta they lived in Greenwich Fairfield County Connecticut. She lived in Connecticut until she was five years old her family moved to Tucson Arizona. Her Mother’s pregnancy was very hush hush and scandalous I’m sure making the true identity of her parents very difficult to find, considering her father being a pillar of the church and possibly married with children. She would love to find members of her family. She did not learn any of these details until the death of her adopted father a long time family friend shared this info with her. All of this info may not be accurate , details may vary this was all second hand info being told to her many years after the fact most likely from an elderly person. But if this scenario sounds remotely familiar or there is a great mystery to a loved one being put up for adoption in this time frame and location please contact me...
