On December 8, 1887, Rosalie Louise and Frederick Ficker (Twins) were born to Rosina Freudig and Otto Ficker in Her sister, Louisa Freudig took on the responsibility of caring for the children. Louisa then married Jacob Salathe, Jr. In turn, the married couple adopted the children and changed their last name to Salathe. I AM LOOKING FOR PAPERWORK THAT DENOTES THEY WERE OFFICIALLY ADOPTED. I realize that there is a possibility that the children were just absorbed into the Salathe Family without adoption. Thank you!
