My Uncle was adopted from the NY Foundling hospital. I believe this was in 1939 and he was 2 years old. He never knew he was adopted until about 10 years ago and has been trying to get information since then. He was adopted by Anna (Yindra) and Joseph Honsch. They resided in Bayside< NY with their daughter Lois Joan Honsch who was adopted at 8 months old in 1931 from relatives. George now lives in Florida and is getting up there in years. He would really like to find out where he came from. Any help would be appreciated. I am his niece, Maryellen kohler. I live on Long Island. I hope you can help him.
