I've been back and forth on writing this post. Mainly because I feel as though I don't have any pictures and minimal information of one of my older brothers. From what I am told my brother's Name given at birth was Jonathan Sierra born in Brooklyn‚ NY to Wanda Sierra (Mother) on February of 1986. He was 2 years old when he‚ my sister and my second older brother was removed by children services. My sister and Jonathan were later adopted‚ and my second brother was reunited with his biological father. Over the years I've search for my sister and second brother and was successful in finding my older sister. We've since grew a relationship and continue to stay in contact to this very day. My sister had told me that her adopted parents and Jonathan's adopted parents would let them speak over the phone until Jonathan's adopted parents no longer wanted to keep that line of communication open. From my understanding he was getting older and soon questions started to develop. He was adopted in Brooklyn‚ NY and eventually the adopted family moved to Massachusetts. His adopted mom and family are presumed to be Puerto Rican. I later found my biological mother with help from my wife‚ and we connected for years on and off. As for my second brother my wife and I found him in my late 20's with luck in reaching out to his family member via Facebook because I notice he had not been active on fb for quite some time. I had later learned that he was very ill and had been on ventilators for some time with hopes of his return‚ but unfortunately from what I was told his father had to make the hardest decision of his life. During that time his father did not disclose any information‚ and all information was given to me very minimally through the father's brother. I had to come to terms with a lot and just respect the father's wishes. The saddest part for me is that we lived in the same city. Thats when the should a‚ could a‚ would a's set in. Also‚ my biological mother had inherited Duchenne muscular dystrophy chromosomes mutation that are passed down through the x chromosome to some or all of her male born babies. unfortunately‚ children affected by this disease will show early symptoms from ages 2-5 years old. I do know that my second brother had that disease which later expired because of it. Over the years I tried to get as much information on Jonathan from my mother‚ but she only remembers his given name at birth‚ birth month and year. She was not even 18 with 3 kids and all 2 years apart from one another. Since I've joined this group‚ I have read beautiful miracles happen‚ I just pray for a miracle too. I am 35 years old and every time I try to move on theirs just something that keeps pulling me back to my search. So here I go again fingers crossed!......
