Hello, I am trying to find adoption records on behalf of my father. He knows who his birth parents are and who the adoptive parent is. This case is unique. My father is a resident of the United States and now lives in Bolivia. He was told that he was adopted in the year 1973 by his stepmother, who was born in 1960. When she became a US citizen, by law since he was a minor so did he. In order to prove this and receive citizenship for my father, we need the adoption records. However, no one can locate these records.
