I was abandoned as an infant on the night of October 4, 1945. I was found on a doorstep in Poughkeepsie, NY on the morning of October 5, 1945. Doctors estimated that I was two days old, therefore, in the adoption proceedings I was assigned the date of October 3, 1945. I was placed in foster care at about three months of age and adopted by my foster parents in 1947. Searches by the local police and the FBI were not able to produce any information.
