I am a female, caucasian adoptee named Anne, born in a Jewish hospital in Inwood, N.Y. near Washington Heights in 1961. The hospital was closed down in approx. 1967 or 1983, and all records were lost. I am looking for information on either one of my biological parents. Both my biological Mother and Father were supposedly in their older teens when I was conceived and wanted to go to college OR were in college at the time. Possibly N.Y.U. - New York University or Columbia University. My adoption was arranged by my adoptive Mother’s Aunt Ethel and Uncle David Bayles through a Doctor in the Bronx that BOTH my Aunt and my biological Mother’s family knew or were friendly with. My biological Mother’s Father or Grandfather was also a Doctor! He may have lived in Riverdale Bronx, N.Y. My adoptive Mother’s Aunt supposedly met both biological parents and their families. I was told my birth Father was in good shape, very handsome with dark brown or possibly almost black hair? My biological Mother was supposedly pretty with lighter hair and fair skin, like me. I am a little over 5’5 in height , with very, bright blue-grey eyes. My hair was light blonde and straight as a child, then turned brown as an adult. I was very athletically inclined as a child and extremely creative my entire life. Important: I was also born with a congenital condition, the developmental absence of approx. 6 permanent teeth. "It is supposedly inherited". My adoptive Parents lived in Forest Hills, N.Y. I mean no harm and only wish everyone the best. I have been curious my whole life. I would be so grateful for any information.
