My name is (Zhanna) Shanna Tusher and I am now almost 20 years old. I was born on January 8th‚ 2006 in Brooklyn‚ NY at Maimonedes hospital. I was adopted in June 2010 by a religious Jewish couple who never had children. I was adopted together with my biological siblings (Elana and Alex) and raised in Brooklyn. It was a closed adoption and I know nearly nothing about my birth parents. Though I do know that my birth mom’s name was likely Yuliya/Julia Novakov (unsure of the spelling) and she immigrated to the US from Minsk‚ Belarus. We were placed into foster care (Ohel family services) and I was eventually adopted when I was 4.
