I gave up my son for adoption, he was born January 21st, 1967 I was at Father Bakers in Lackawanna, New York. I lived in Rochester, New York my recollection was that Catholic Family Services was doing the adoption. At the time, they told me I had no rights to know anything about where or when. I have posted on websites over the years but with so little information I felt that it was not going to happen unless there was a DNA match. I did contact the show Lost Families and they contacted me and we did a DNA through Ancestry but no matches appeared. I am willing to do another DNA if there is a potential match. I pray a lot, but I understand that sometimes people don’t want to be contacted. My hope is that my son where ever he is, has a good life and that his parents who adopted him have been good loving parents and have given him a life that he is happy and secure in. Having said that I would still love to meet him and know that he is ok and happy, and that is all I want for him. I had always wanted things to be different back then but they weren’t so I had to make a decision that I felt was going to be best for him or at least the hope that it would be the best thing for him. If any further information is wanted please contact me.
