I was born March 12, 1957 in St Luke’s Hospital, Newburgh, New York and placed in adoptive parents home at 5 days old. Adoptive parents say they received a phone call from DSS on the 17th asking if they would house a baby girl...DSS had no place for me to go upon being released from hospital...obviously adoptive parents said yes and rest is history. I have no information about birth parents or my name at birth.
