UPDATE: My mother has received her pre-adoption birtch certificate from NYC. The certificate lists a Mothers name but not a fathers (which we expected). I am protecting the name for now‚ however I can say that my mother's biological mother was 16 at the time of birth. Additionally we have located a half sibling of my mother (through the biological mother). Searching for the mother (my biological grandmother) or close family of a female child who was adopted as an infant from the former St. Mary’s Hospital in Brooklyn in 1957. Thank you kindly everyone!
