My name is Sean Hansell and I’m an adoptee searching for my birth mother, Cathy Dupee. I was born October 17, 1983 at 2:31 PM at Julia L. Butterfield Hospital in Cold Spring, NY in Putnam County. Cathy stayed for a time at the Nazareth Life Center in Garrison, NY during her pregnancy. The agency that handled my adoption was Catholic Home Bureau, and though they state that my adoption records were destroyed in an arson fire in 1996, my records are also sealed in Albany. Cathy was 20 years old, of Swedish, German, and Irish descent. She has an older and younger sister. Her parents were divorced. She had another child that is 2 years older than me. She played the cello.
