My girlfriend gave our son up for adoption in July 1954. He was born the last two weeks of July. She was so traumatized that she does not remember the exact date. Our son was born at Brooklyn Hospital. We believe Frederic Pizzi, MD, was the attending physician. She says she used an assumed name of Ina Cohen and named him, Jeffrey Alan (sp?) Cohen.
