My sister was born to my unwed mother. Here parents forced her to give the baby up. They sent her to an unwed mothers home not to embarrass them in the neighborhood. My mother loved her baby so much and cried each year on her birthday. She was born at a hospital in Jamaica queens I believe. The baby had a special surgery for her finger. My mom has passed but I’m searching. We searched while mom was alive with no luck.
