My grandmother, Betty Louise Emerick, was adopted as an infant/ young child. I am looking for a biological relative for genealogy purposes. I believe she was born to possibly catholic French or Italian parents. I believe this only because my grandma told me that she would dream in French sometimes and didn’t understand but knew she was supposed to. Possibly Italian because if dna results that do not match up to any known family history. She was adopted by Richard and Marion Emerick in Kingston, Ulster, N.Y. in 1927 or 1928. The place of adoption was either New York City or Binghamton, NY.
